Making a Comment on another Blog

While we are in A4 every Tuesday for ICT one of the tasks we have to do is visit another blog and make a comment. Here are our rules for making a comment.

1. Read an article or view their photos before you comment.
2. Click on the "comment" area to make a comment.
3. When commenting, don't use bad or negative language.
4. Make sure what you write makes sense.
5. Leave your first name only.
6. Make sure you proof-read your comment before you publish it.

Topic - Communtiy Engagement

This term our topic is "Relationships". We have been learning about groups and organisations in our community. Some of the groups in our community are the SPCA, Sports Clubs, Red Cross, St John Ambulance and The Police to name a few.
We have learned a lot about the SPCA. The Rotorua SPCA was formed in 1944 and is siutated on Old Taupo Road over by Bunnings. There are 48 branches throughout New Zealand. SPCA stands for = The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

ICT Time on PhotoPeach



This is us in A4 doing ICT work. We are on the "Mathletics" site which we love! We were given our password and username to access the site. Some of us managed to get nearly 200 points after only 1 session.
Whaea Susan was really excited when we were given some new ICT equipment for our classroom. We got a wireless keyboard and mouse, some new speakers and three new sets of earphones. We feel very lucky to have this new equipment. Whaea Susan said we have to look after the equipment or we won't get any more from Mrs Macfarlane!

Here we are in the pool learning and having fun. We start off with our warm-ups and then we learn and practise new skills and finally finish off with a game, we love swimming time!
