Athletic Super Stars from B3 on PhotoPeach

Ruru the Owl

Possum and Dan the Puppet Man

This is the puppet man and Possum. Possum is rapping about being careful when crossing the road. He says to look right then left then right again and listen out of your ear. You then walk across to the other side when the road is clear. He raps about his friend Pickle who got squashed on the road because he didn't look right and left. We think Possum was awesome at rapping.

Porangi and Constable

Dan the Puppet Man with Porangi the Pukeko

On Friday we had a special visit from Dan the Puppet Man. Here he is with Porangi the pukeko.Porangi was trying to find Constable Jacko to tell him to go to schools to pass on the message to all children. The message was to never ever run acoss the road. Porangi the pukeko didn't know the road signs that Dan the puppet man had on display.

Athletics Day 2012!

Athletics Day 2012 on PhotoPeach

On Tuesday and Wednesday Pohutukawa and Totara Teams had athletics. We did shot put, 60m sprints, high jump. long jump, vortex and relays. It was a beautiful sunny day and everyone was happy giving it their all. We got to do all the events. Maui's favourite event was the high jump. He felt happy because he liked jumping and landing on the mat. Reeces's favourite event was the 60m sprints because he liked hearing the gun go off. Arihana's favourite event was also the 60m sprints because he was fast, he came third after Daniel and Paora. Ryder's favourite event was shot put because he was good at it.
